07:00 to 06:55

One shift, hour by hour.

From the 07:05 notice to the next morning, follow one shift on Union Connect Pro.

Notice

The notice goes to every station at once.

One message, sent by text and email to every member on every shift, from one screen.

Sample local: the membership meeting notice "Membership meeting, Thu 19:00" goes to all members at every station, on A, B and C shifts, by text and email. Sent at 07:05 to 121 members.

Acks

Acknowledgements come in, station by station.

Members confirm with one tap. Officers see which stations are still pending, and those members get a reminder.

Sample local: 116 of 121 members have acknowledged the notice. Every station is done but Station 6, with 5 pending, and at 09:40 a reminder went to those 5 members.

Grievance filed

A grievance is filed from the station.

The steward files it from a phone. It starts at Step 1, with the deadline for the next step in view.

Sample local: steward H.J. files a grievance from a phone at Station 5 at 13:15. The case shows New Grievance, Step 1, and the next step due in 9 days.

Contract vote

The contract vote opens on every phone.

Members vote in the members area wherever they are on shift, and the vote stays open for a full rotation so every shift takes part.

Sample local: the contract vote is live from 19:00 for all 121 eligible members, in the members area. It stays open for a full rotation, so A, B and C shifts all take part.

By-law result

The by-law vote result is pinned for the next shift.

A by-law change that ran for a full rotation closes, and its result is posted and pinned in the members area, so the crew coming on at 07:00 sees it first.

Sample local: at 21:05 a post in the members area says the by-law change vote result is posted, pinned at the top for the crew coming on next.

Your app

Your local's app and website are already current.

On Enterprise, members open your local's own app. On every plan, your website and members area show last night's result.

Sample local: at 06:55 a member opens the local's own app, with the by-law change result pinned at the top. Beside it, the members area on the local's website shows the same pinned result.
